Abstract
Despite the high prevalence of diabetes in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, there is limited access to education and support resources about diabetes and its complications tailored to the customs, culture, and language of people living in the region. While health websites promise greater and more convenient access to health information, accredited websites to educate Arabs with diabetes remain scarce. In this paper, we present an assessment about a diabetes-focused website offering information tailored to the needs of people living in the MENA region who primarily speak Arabic. We also offer recommendations to improve similar health-focused websites.
