Abstract

The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) is a funding organization oriented towards maintaining, as part of the Nations effort, technological leadership and progress in the realm of sciences. To fulfill its purposes KFAS is implementing a variety of programs relevant to Kuwait, Islamic countries and international domains. The environmental and resources management program supports the development of data-collection tools and analytic and computational modelling techniques.
