Project Details

Abstract English

In this project, we will synthesize N-acetonyl benzoxazolone and their derivatives. The emphasis will be on the reactivates of the compounds stated above toward carbon and nitrogen nucleophiles for the synthesis polyfunctional substituted heterocyclic derivatives. We will expect to synthesize through these reactions coumarin, pyrazole, isoxazole, pyrimidine, pyridone, fused pyridone, thiophene, thiazole-2-thione, thiazolo [3, 2-a] pyrimidine, tetrazolo [l , 5-a] pyrimidine, and pyrimido [l , 2-a]benzimidazole incorporated with either a benzoxazolone ring or with a pyrazolylbenzoxazolone. Moreover, all synthesis compounds will be confirmed by elemental analyses, Il-INMR, 13 C NMR spectra and mass spectrometry, as well as X-ray diffraction.
Additionally, all the synthesis derivatives previously mentioned will evaluate theirs in vitro biological activities against c-Met kinase and their anti-tumor activity against three cancer lines, namely breast adenocarcinoma (MCF-7), non-small cell lung cancer (NCI-H460), and CNS human normal cell lines. It will do with an aim to discover and develop new anticancer drugs,
