An Exploratory Study of Workaholism : Its Relationship with Behavioral variables and Health Complaints among Occupants of the Public Sector Holding Leadership Positions in the State of Kuwait

تهدف الدراسة إلي تحديد مدى انتشار ظاهرة إدمان العمل بين شاغلي الوظائف القيادية في عشرين جهة حكومية تمثل قطاع الخدمة المدنية وعلاقة هذه الظاهرة بعدة عوامل منها ضغوط العمل، الكمال في العمل، التفويض، احترام الذات والشكاوى الصحية. وستنتهج الدراسة الطرق الإحصائية لتحليل النتائج وطرح بعض التوصيات والموضوعات ذات الصلة لدراسات مستقبلية.

The study will examine workaholism with respect to job stress, perfectionism, delegation of authority, self-esteem and health complaints of a sample of 207 persons from the public sector holding leading positions (secretaries and undersecretaries) in Kuwait. It will analyse data using statistical methods and provide recommendations for future research.
