Investigation of the Efficiency of the New Cooling System in the Broiler and Layer Houses in Kuwait

سيتم تجهيز بيوت الدجاج اللاحم والبياض في محطة الأبحاث والابتكار في كبد بنظام تبريد جديد يُزعم أنه يحسن أداء إنتاج الدواجن ويقلل من استهلاك الكهرباء والماء. كما أن نظام العزل الحراري الجديد لغرف الدواجن يتمتع بكفاءة أفضل من النظام التقليدي القديم، حيث أنه نظام عزل يحافظ على الجو المحيط بغرف أبحاث الدواجن لفترة طويلة مما يحسن من جودة النتائج العلمية. الهدف من الدراسة البحثية الحالية هو تقييم نظام التبريد الجديد المصمم لتربية الدجاج اللاحم والبياض في مزرعة أبحاث الدواجن في محطة الأبحاث والابتكار في معهد الكويت للأبحاث العلمية (KSRI). سيتم استخدام جميع بيوت الدواجن بكامل طاقتها لضمان النتائج المثلى. سيتم تحقيق هذا الهدف من خلال سبعة مهام علمية كالاتي: المهمة 1: الإعداد والتحضير؛ المهمة 2: تصميم وتركيب وصيانة أنظمة التبريد الجديدة والقديمة في بيوت الدواجن. المهمة 3: قياس استهلاك الطاقة والمياه في بيوت الدواجن. المهمة 4: دراسة تأثير استخدام نظام التبريد الجديد على أداء إنتاج الدجاج اللاحم المربى في البطاريات وفي الحظائر الأرضية؛ المهمة 5: دراسة تأثير نظام التبريد الجديد على أداء إنتاج الدجاج البياض. المهمة 6: التحليل المخبري لعينات الأعلاف واللحوم والبيض والدراسة التذويقية والحسية لعينات اللحوم والبيض. المهمة 87: التحليل الإحصائي وتفسير النتائج؛ المهمة وإعداد التقارير. مدة هذا النشاط البحثي 24 شهر بميزانية إجمالية 110,900 د. ك. ستكون الرواتب 84,620 د. ك، و 26,280 د. ك للمصاريف التشغيلية.

The new poultry broiler and layer houses in the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) will be equipped with a new cooling system that is claimed to improve poultry production performance and reduce the consumption of electricity and water. The new thermal spinning system for the poultry rooms is claimed to be with better efficiency than the old traditional system. It is an isolation system that preserves the surrounding atmosphere of the poultry research rooms for a long period of time, which improves the quality of the scientific results. The objective of the current research study is to evaluate the new cooling system designed to raise broiler and layer chickens in the poultry research farm at KISR Research and Innovation Station (KSRI). All the poultry houses (broilers and layers) will be used for its full capacity to ensure optimum investigation purposes. This objective will be approaches through 7 tasks, namely: Task 1: Mobilization; Task 2: Design, installation, and maintenance of the new and old cooling systems in the poultry houses; Task 3: Measuring energy and water consumption in the poultry houses; Task 4: Investigation of the effect of using the new cooling system on the production performance of broiler chickens raised in batteries and on floor pens; Task 5: Investigation of the effect of the new cooling system on production performance of laying hens; Task 6: Laboratory analysis and organoleptic study of poultry samples. Task 7: Statistical analysis and reporting. The duration of this research activity will be 24 mo, with a total budget of KD 110,900. Salaries will be KD 84,620, and KD 26,280 will be for operating expenses.
