The Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) is a private non-profit foundation, established in 1976 and funded by a pledge of one percent of the annual net profits of Kuwait’s private shareholding companies. For nearly five decades, KFAS has powered Kuwait’s science — backing researchers, funding projects, building research infrastructure and recognizing excellence across the nation’s institutions. This portal is an open window on everything that support has made possible: the publications, projects and grants, researchers, research units, prizes and activities powered by KFAS.
